Commercialism
GITA is constantly striving to upgrade the quality of its
conference programs. You can assist us in this quest by
adhering to our philosophy that all conference presentations
be educational and non-commercial. Several years of speaker
evaluations have indicated that a) our attendees desire
and expect all subject matter to be presented in an objective
manner and b) sales pitches are not acceptable and ultimately
not in the speaker’s own best interest.
In the event that my abstract is selected
by the conference committee for inclusion in the Annual Conference 30 Program, I agree to the following:
“I agree that my GITA presentation
will be made with emphasis on educational information in
a non-commercial manner. I further agree that I will read
the GITA guidelines for speakers and agree will follow the
policies stated therein.”
Co-speakers and Speaker
Substitutions
“Only co-speakers listed on the
original abstract will be allowed to present at Annual Conference 30, and/or substitute as lead
presenter in the event that the lead presenter is unavailable.
In the event that none of the presenters/co-presenters from
the original abstract submission are available to present
at Annual Conference 30, I understand
that GITA will assign a replacement presentation from pre-selected
back-up abstracts.”
Publication Permission
“In addition, I understand that
this publication release gives GITA sole publishing rights
to my paper/presentation as it is submitted. Any future
use of this paper is at the sole discretion of GITA. Reprint/reproduction
requests must be made in writing to Henry Rosales, Director
of Operations, GITA.”
We sincerely appreciate your contribution
and your commitment to assisting us in increasing the level
of educational excellence. Please contact GITA at 303-337-0513
