IKO Chapter Hosts Live Webcast at Three Sites: Indy, Columbus, and Lexington

Again, the IKO Chapter has made GITA webcasts even more accessible to its chapter members and the geospatial community. On December 1, 2004, GIS professionals were invited to come to one of three sites: the Veolia Water Indianapolis (formerly Indianapolis Water Company) in Indianapolis, Indiana; the Columbus Utilities Complex in Columbus, Ohio; and the Lexington Public Library Downtown in Lexington, Kentucky.

Over 50 people attended the “On the Move II: What's New in Mobile Technology” webcast at the three sites. Lunch was provided to the participants before the web cast began.

Afterward, there was discussion about mobile technologies and our local uses. It’s good to hear about what others are doing on the national level to reinforce our local experts.
